Our Work & You

The Phoenix Rizen Creative Arts Foundation was founded by award-winning writer/producer, V. Helena, with the intent to provide opportunities to persons of all ages--particularly those with disabilities--to realize their artistic potential.

A master's graduate of American University's Film & Video Production program, V has devoted her energy to the charge that we can ALL "rize to create"! With the help of local organizations, volunteers, and professionals in the areas of creative writing, film, and video production, those interested in honing their craft and working in these areas are encouraged to create in a professional and nurturing environment.
